Background:

Vase Prints use traditional vase style and vintage fashion and lifetstye images from the early 1900s by famous illustrators. Vase Prints are created by Jean Gabrael Studio.

Les Roses by Pierre-Joseph Redouté depicts numerous varieties of roses from the gardens of Empress Josephine Bonaparte and other significant cultivators of the early 1900s. Redouté was called the “Rembrandt of Roses.” He used stipple engraving to capture the translucency of the flower petals andwith a  portrait-like individuality of each rose. The intensity of inking and subtlety of coloring all contribute to the creation of engravings of unrivaled beauty.
